Colorado Springs Teen Court is growing quickly. From 2005 through 2007 the number of teens diverted from the Municipal Court System doubled from 300 to 600 defendants. In 2008 there were 621 defendants and the number continues to grow. Because of Teen Court’s low recidivism rate your donations will have a direct impact on teens who go through the program. By reaching out when a teen is most vulnerable you can divert someone from a life of crime and help him/her to become contributing members of the local society and economy. And since Colorado Springs Teen Court is a 501(c)(3) corporation your donation is tax deductible.
